On January 17, 2019, newly elected members of the Institute’s Research Council gathered on their first meeting in the new 2019-2022 term of office.

Chris Trombley and Maria Ekiel-Jeżewska from IPPT PAN discovered theoretically stable configurations of charged microparticles in a viscous fluid. The results have been published in Physical Review Letters.

Karol Golasiński, a PhD student at the Department of Experimental Mechanics, Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, obtained a scholarship for outstanding achievements in the academic year 2018/2019 according to the decision of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences made on the 20th of November 2018.

IPPT PAN begins the implementation of a new project titled "International cooperation on complex systems and modern technologies - THACA". Funds for financing the project have been granted by the National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the first competition in the International Academic Partnerships program.
