On February 17, 2015, the professor’s nomination was granted to Jerzy Litniewski by Mr Bronisław Komorowski, the President of Poland. The nominee is an associate professor at Department of Ultrasound.

We are pleased to announce the monograph GRAFEN - IPPT PAN COMPUTER OF BIOCENTRUM OCHOTA GRID, Eligiusz Postek, Tomasz A. Kowalewski, Editors.
The report concerns the computing cluster at IPPT PAN. The first part of the report is a user manual of the cluster. In the following one, we described selected applications of numerical methods in the computational biology, tectonophysics and fluid mechanics. Finally, we depicted a few selected computer programs that are implemented on the cluster.
On January 22, 2015, newly elected members of the Institute’s Scientific Council gathered on their first meeting in the new 2015-2018 term of office.
On January 21, 2015, representatives of IPPT PAN visited the Automotive Industry Institute(PIMOT) in Warsaw.
