Our cooperation with European science and research centers has resulted in the implementation of many scientific projects of the European Union programmes. One of the leading projects was the coordination of networks of excellence entitled “Nowoczesne materiały wieloskładnikowe o podwyższonej trwałości i niezawodności” (Network of Excellence Knowledge-based Multicomponent Materials for Durable and Safe Performance, KMM-NoE), which fostered the establishment of The European Virtual Institute on Knowledge-based Multifunctional Materials AISBL, thus showing the supranational character of the IPPT influence.
