In November 2017, National Science Centre (NCN) has approved and subsidized four projects at IPPT PAN
We are pleased to announce the monograph "Nieparametryczna metoda identyfikacji zmian masy i sztywności konstrukcji" (Nonparametric identification of structural mass and stiffness modifications) by Grzegorz Suwała (IPPT Reports 4/2016).
Six doctoral students from IPPT PAN will participate in the Implementation Doctorates Programme (funds from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education). The programme has launched in the academic year 2017/2018. Doctoral students will receive the Ministry scholarship. The second source of income will be a salary paid by the employer, for which they will conduct implementation research.
On September 28, 2017, the professor’s nomination was granted to Mr Jerzy Rojek by Mr Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland. The nominee is an associate professor, the head of the Divisions Computational Methods in Nonlinear Mechanics at the Department of Information and Computational Science.
The opening ceremony of the Academic Year 2017/2018 will take place on October 20, 2017 at Biocentrum Ochota (Auditorium & Exhibition hall of the Nałęcz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering PAN).
On September 25-29, 2017, Science Festival took place at IPPT PAN. In the annual event we presented the series of lectures and laboratory presentations for audience of all ages. The objective of the IPPT PAN educational program was to teach young people basic knowledge about the fundamental technological research.
