Dr. Eng. (Dr inż.) Zygmunt Krasiński was appointed for the position of director of the National Contact Point for Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, having won the competition announced by the director of IPPT PAN. Since 1 of January 2005 he has held the position of deputy director of the National Contact Point. He will assume his new position on 1 of July 2014. Dr inż. Zygmunt Krasiński is a graduate of Faculty of Electronics of Warsaw University of Technology and a scholarship holder of the Japanese government (Nihon University in Tokyo). An expert of Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the committees of European Commission (FP7 workgroup on RSFF, FP7 Programme Committee for International Cooperation, FP7 Committee for SME and Access to Risk Finance, Panel on Research and Innovation of the Eastern Partnership. He has many years of experience in implementing projects funded by the European Union, especially Framework Programmes of the European Union. He is an advisor, trainer, an author and co-author of many publications on R&D management. He is a founding member of the National Council of Coordinators of Research Projects (KRAB) and a member of Certification Committee of PM IPMA Polska, as well as a many year member of European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA).
