December 1, 2018 IPPT PAN begins the implementation of a new two-year project titled "International cooperation on complex systems and modern technologies - ITHACA". Funds for financing the 2 million PLN project have been granted to our Institute by the National Agency for Academic Exchange , as part of the first competition in the International Academic Partnerships program.
The main goal of the ITHACA project is to create a lasting long-term partnership with foreign institutions, which will contribute to the strategic direction of development of the involved parties.
The project will finance scientific exchange with partner institutions in the field of complex systems and modern technologies, as well as other activities supporting research, such as organization of conferences, seminars and scientific workshops.
The cooperation planned in the project is based on previous scientific cooperation with foreign institutions, as well as with units with which we have started cooperation in expanding the subject of our research. The partnership brings together a total of 14 institutions from 7 countries, from 3 continents. The project's coordinator is Agnieszka Słowicka, PhD. from IPPT PAN.
