IPPT PAN will participate in a new European Union Horizon 2020 project (funding scheme: Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions – COFUND). The PASIFIC project („Polish Academy of Sciences’ Individual Fellowships: Innovation & Creativity”) will be coordinated by the Polish Academy of Sciences.
During 5 years of the project implementation, 50 fellowships will be granted to incoming researchers from abroad hosted by PAS institutes, each of them for 2 years. The project will contribute to further internationalisation of PAS institutes, enlargement of the network of durable research collaboration and to the development of research careers of PASIFIC fellows.
IPPT PAN will be in charge of project tasks involving workshops for PASIFIC fellows on research programmes and efficient proposal writing. The Institute will also organise workshops for PAS institutes hosting PASIFIC fellows on the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers as well as on development and implementation of institutional Human Resources Strategies for Researchers.
Out of 71 proposals for fellowship programmes, submitted in MSCA-COFUND call in 2018, only 16 projects from all over Europe have been selected for funding, , including PASIFIC project.
