Rules and procedures of outbound mobility of PhD students and staff of IPPT PAN
A. Under Erasmus+ programme the following types of outbound mobility are eligible:
- a) mobility of PhD students for traineeships,
- b) mobility of staff for teaching or training.
Higher education institutions in Erasmus+ programme countries, to which outbound mobility is planned, need to have "Erasmus Charter for Higher Education" valid at least in the academic year when the mobility will be held.
Outbound staff mobility for teaching to any Erasmus+ programme country requires prior conclusion of Inter-Institutional Agreement between IPPT PAN and the receiving Higher Education Institution (HEI).
B. Recruitment of staff members and a PhD students for mobility is conducted according to the Regulation of implementation of Erasmus+ programme at IPPT PAN, introduced pursuant to the Ordinance No D/021-36/2019 of the Director of IPPT PAN, dated 18.12.2019 and to the call for applications, launched by the Erasmus+ programme Committee on 18.12.2019Erasmus+ Application for mobility is submitted together with required supporting documents to Erasmus+ Coordinator at IPPT PAN.
C. Before the mobility:Persons approved for mobility by the Erasmus+ programme Committee submit the following documents, according to the rules set out in the mentioned above regulation and call announcement:
- Erasmus+ travel application form
- financial agreement with IPPT PAN regarding:
staff mobility
or PhD student mobility - copies of certificates of health insurance and casualty insurance, valid abroad throughout the whole mobility period
and:
- in the case of staff mobility for teaching: Mobility Agreement – Staff Mobility for Teaching
- in the case of staff mobility for training: Mobility Agreement – Staff Mobility for Training
- in the case of PhD student mobility for traineeships:
- - Learning Agreement – Student Mobility for Traineeships
- - a copy of liability insurance in professional life certificate.
In addition, PhD students are obliged to carry out an on-line test in "Online Linguistic Support – OLS" system to assess their competences in the main mobility language used abroad.
D. During the mobility in the receiving institution the mobility participants are obliged to:
- meet the mobility goals and implement the mobility agenda as set out in the relevant agreements,
- receive a mobility certificate, confirming exact dates of mobility, implemented agenda and achieved goals; the certificate should be signed by an authorised person at the receiving institution (it is recommended to get the certificate prior to return, although formally it is permitted to get it up to 5 weeks after the end of mobility).
E. After the mobility:
- every returning mobility participant:
- prepares a report in Mobility Tool system,
- delivers the mobility certificate to Erasmus+ Coordinator at IPPT PAN.
- in addition, a PhD student:
- performs another language test in "Online Linguistic Support – OLS" system.
Please, be aware that a mobility participant who has received complementary funding to Erasmus+ funds has to clear that part of funding according to the usual rules regarding business trips, binding at IPPT PAN.
